Who provides security?

The Community currently has 24 hour concierge and security provided by Cristobal Perujo, Samuel Herrera, Adrian Fernandez and Cristobal Gavira – all are employed directly by the Community. They work a shift rota system and the concierges choose this shift pattern themselves.

What are their duties?

Their duties incorporate checking entry of all cars and pedestrians to Phase 1, checking ID where necessary, patrolling the grounds especially during the night and checking that all garden and street lights are functioning and reporting problems when necessary.

The concierge also has the paddle tennis racquets.

The concierge can also be called upon to assist with any problems e.g. noisy neighbours, problems at the pool area etc where he will act as an intermediary. You can call the concierge office on 952 669 516 or 604 448 963. You can also email conserjeria.calahills@gmail.com.

What can I do to help?

If you are expecting visitors you can telephone the concierge hut and advise who you are expecting and at what time.

If you see any suspicious people around the community report it to the concierge.

Remote Controls

The remote control that you received with your keys opens the entrance gate and garage door. Extra remotes can be purchased from Openmatic, Avenida de Mijas and programmed by the duty concierge.

In the event of a power cut the concierge is able to open the main gate manually and the garage doors can be opened from the inside of the garage using the string on the garage door.
