Dear Owners,

The main items dealt with this month were repairs to the garage door of block 3 and the installation of 3 new TV amplifiers in blocks 4, 5 and 6.  We’ve also had to install battery powered emergency lights in all the lifts. Our concierge, Juanjo, is still signed off sick and we have no indication of when he might be able to return which is the same for Crisobal Gavira so we are currently paying 6 concierges instead of the usual 4.

Pools 1 and 2 were finally re-opened but we still have some major issues that need resolving. We have been waiting many weeks for a pool company to come and give us a quote for the re-tiling of pool 1 – they are so inundated with work that it’s hard to pin them down but they are the company we have used before and that we trust so I prefer to wait until they can do the work. The children’s pool at pool 2 is still not fixed and we are, once again, waiting for the company that can investigate the source of the leak to come and have a look. The sand in pool 3 needs replacing and I am waiting for a quote for that and there is also a leak there that needs resolving. It seems to be a common problem at the moment either trying to get tradesmen or materials which is frustrating to say the least.

I’m also still waiting to find out when the painters can come and clean the buildings – they have been working in Phase 2 so we just have to wait our turn – patience is not one of my virtues!

On a positive note the weather is stunning and there are many residents enjoying the sunshine and the pools.
