July Report 2017

Dear Owners,

The summer season is well underway and thankfully no major problems
have arisen this month. General maintenance
work continues and problems dealt with as and when they arise which are pretty

The new owners of apartment 409 have paid their legal
obligation with regard to the debt on this property by paying the first two
quarters of the current year plus three previous years. We are now in discussion with the community
lawyer regarding the rest of the debt against the previous owner and whether it
is possible to pursue that.

Whilst Carlos (1) is well able to deal with the general
garden maintenance, Carlos (2) returned for 2 weeks to carry out major pruning
of the hedges around the community. We
will continue to bring in additional help as and when it is needed.

At the AGM last November I stated that my focus for the year
was to get the community back on a sound financial footing. This could only be done by cutting costs and
recovering debts and our administrator, Gerardo, and I have worked hard to do both. I also said that I wanted to establish a
reserve fund of €20,000. That reserve
fund has now been established, which is a good start, and I will propose at the
AGM in November that we increase the funds in reserve, which we are in a
position to do. This will put us in a
good place for the coming year.
