Dear Owners, August, despite being hot, humid and busy, passed by without any major problems. The new area for the collection of the garden waste has now been completed and the skip removed from the parking bay on the left as you enter Phase 1. Carlos (2) returned for an additional week to finish pruning the perimeter hedges. Dear Owners, The summer season is well underway and thankfully no major problems have arisen this month. General maintenance work continues and problems dealt with as and when they arise which are pretty constant. The new owners of apartment 409 have paid their legal obligation with regard to the debt on this property by paying the first two quarters of the current year plus three previous years. Dear Owners, Things have been relatively peaceful during June other than the spate of burglaries in the wider La Cala Hills community. Thankfully Phase 1 was not targeted and I have not heard of any further reports in the last couple of weeks so hopefully that problem has gone away. Gerardo and I continue to try and reduce the debtors list by liaising with those owners who do have a debt with the community.
